Nominations for the 2015 Crowe Horwarth Carillon Business Awards opened on Monday 25 May 2015.

Nominations can be made using a new dedicated website, which the Bathurst Business Chamber along with technology partner Appiwork has created for the Awards.

The website will allow members of the public to nominate the businesses they consider to be the best in the Bathurst region.  Businesses which are nominated will receive email notification, which will allow them to accept the nomination and complete their entry submission.

“The move to an online system in 2014 has streamlined the process for the event and supports the vast majority of businesses that use the internet and have email addresses,” said Bathurst Business Chamber President, Stacey Whittaker.

“Payment of the nomination acceptance fee online provides greater security and avoids any risk of nominations going missing. We recognise that there will of course be some people who would prefer to nominate using pen and paper, and we are pleased that one of our media partners, the Western Advocate will be printing nomination forms.  These can be posted to the Bathurst Business Chamber or dropped into the offices of the Western Advocate or 2BS/B-Rock.”

Once a Business has accepted their nomination in one or more categories, they can start completing their submission and answering the specific questions for each category, together with general questions with each business will be asked to answer.

“Our online judging platform, as used by the NSW Business Chamber, offers accountability and rigour in the judging and determination of the category winners.  All businesses will be judged by the same criteria, with the judges for each category selected from industry and business experts from across the region, ensuring the process remains impartial.”
